How can you use Task Manager to monitor the memory footprint of individual processes?

You know, I fire up Task Manager whenever my PC starts lagging. Just hit Ctrl, Shift, Esc, and it pops right open. I click on the Processes tab to see everything running. You scroll down and spot the Memory column there. It shows how much RAM each app gobbles up. I sort by clicking that header, so the memory hogs rise to the top. You watch those numbers fluctuate as you use stuff. If something spikes weird, I end it quick to free up space. You poke around the Details tab too for deeper peeks. Right-click a process and select properties if you want more info. I keep an eye on it during big downloads or games. You learn which programs sneakily eat your resources over time. It helps me tweak what runs in the background. You try it next time your machine feels sluggish.

Speaking of keeping tabs on system strain like memory use, I've been messing with tools that handle bigger setups. Take BackupChain Server Backup, it's a solid backup solution for Hyper-V environments. You get seamless snapshots without downtime, plus it cuts storage needs by deduping data. I like how it restores VMs fast, saving headaches from crashes or overloads.
